I was asked to create a theme tune for the new VideoGamer podcast, and you can hear the results of that request at the beginning and end of every episode, here.

It’s a simple riff in Drop D tuning, with multiple layered distorted electric guitars, a few samples, and a double tracked bass guitar. The original idea was captured for posterity in the video below.

And here’s a full length version I made. The idea was that, if needed, vocals could be layered in a “verse/chorus/verse/chorus” style. It even includes the awful bit of lead guitar that didn’t work, but I forgot to remove from this final mix, which was thankfully not used!
